Sibos Food Hall & Closing Event
Designing and delivering high volume social spaces for over 2,000 Sibos delegates.
Transforming scale into experience.
At Sibos, Rapiergroup was appointed to design and manage the Sibos Food Hall and, for the first time, the Closing Event. Both spaces needed to operate at significant scale, welcoming over 2,000 delegates, while still feeling intuitive, inclusive and human‑first.
The brief focused on two distinct challenges. First, to create a seamless and appealing lunch experience that could handle high delegate volumes efficiently. Second, to deliver an engaging Closing Event that transformed the same large‑scale environment into a memorable social finale, all within tight turnaround times.
Rapiergroup led the creative design, operational planning and experience management for both spaces. For the Food Hall, the team introduced a festival‑inspired concept that prioritised flow, comfort and choice. Seating was carefully planned to offer a mix of formats and group sizes, encouraging delegates to pause, connect and recharge. Digital screens were deliberately removed to create a screen‑free environment, supporting authentic interaction, while curated daily entertainment added energy without overwhelming the space.
For the Closing Event, Rapiergroup reconfigured the hall through creative zoning and spatial planning, allowing the environment to shift from daytime functionality to an evening celebration. Entertainment was programmed to encourage participation and shared experience, helping to bring delegates together at the end of the week.
The result was two distinct yet connected experiences. The Food Hall became a calm, welcoming retreat during busy conference days, while the Closing Event delivered a vibrant and engaging conclusion to Sibos. Together, they supported Swift’s event objectives and enhanced the overall delegate experience through thoughtful design, clear planning, and people‑first delivery.
