Motability Scheme Live – Digital Event Ecosystem

Embedded into the event’s operating core.

Rather than operating as a standalone ticketing tool, the new registration and ticketing capability was built into the existing test drive and wider event management platform for Motability Scheme Live. This extended the event’s core operational system and created a joined-up experience for visitors and organisers.

At the heart of this was a bespoke registration journey that simplified booking while capturing meaningful insight into attendance behaviour. Visitors could register once and manage multiple attendees within a single booking, reducing friction for families and carers.

Tickets were delivered via the event microsite, with Apple Wallet and Google Wallet integration for quick, accessible entry on arrival.

Crucially, the integrated platform unlocked real-time attendance data for the first time. This enabled the team to:

• Understand expected visitor numbers in advance
• Monitor live check-in across the event
• Identify peak arrival periods and visitor flow trends
• Optimise staffing and operational planning in real time

This shift from estimated to actual visitor data marked a significant step forward in how the event could be managed and refined.

To support this, we deployed a bespoke scanning app for entry teams, enabling fast, reliable check-in and immediate visibility of attendance as it happened.

By connecting registration, ticketing, test drives and event operations, the platform created a cohesive visitor journey, from planning and arrival through to navigation and participation, while establishing a scalable digital foundation for future Motability Scheme Live events.
