Rapiergroup wins Silver at the Conference & Events Awards 2026 for Sibos 2025

AWARDS

Rapiergroup has been awarded Silver for Best Event by an Agency at the Conference & Events Awards 2026, recognising our work on Sibos 2025, delivered in partnership with Swift.

Sibos is one of the most established and complex events in global financial services. Bringing together over 12,000 delegates from 168 countries, it creates a unique challenge: how to deliver something at scale that still feels intuitive, connected and human.

That challenge shaped everything about our approach.

Rather than focusing purely on scale, the priority was to design an experience that worked effortlessly for every attendee. From intuitive wayfinding through to carefully considered networking spaces, every element was created to help people move, meet and engage naturally.

At the centre of the experience was the Swift stand, designed as an immersive environment that brought the organisation’s role and impact to life. Alongside this, the Discover area provided space for forward-looking ideas and conversations, while the food hall offered a more informal, unexpected environment that brought a sense of openness and energy into the event.

Sibos 2025 ultimately became a record-breaking edition of the event, with more than 700 speakers, over 290 exhibitors and strong engagement across both in-person and digital audiences. But beyond the numbers, the focus was on delivering meaningful interactions and measurable outcomes.

Sustainability was a key consideration throughout. From material choices to operational planning, the event was designed to minimise impact, achieving just 7% food waste while prioritising lower-impact solutions wherever possible.

For Rapiergroup, the recognition reflects more than the scale of the event. It highlights the importance of collaboration, creative thinking and technical delivery working together to support a single goal: creating experiences that feel seamless for the people attending them.

This award is a great recognition of what’s possible when collaboration, creativity and technical delivery all come together.
