Launching an iconic new vehicle at Goodwood Festival of Speed
Rapiergroup managed the world premier unveiling of the Audi R8 Spyder V10 Plus at Goodwood Festival of Speed for both press and customers.
Stephan Winkelmann, Managing Director of Audi Sport and former CEO of Lamborghini, hosted the unveiling in front of an audience including multiple Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen, Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay and Lord March. The unveiling was streamed live across the globe and the vehicle was then displayed on the Audi stand for all of the Festival of Speed guests to view over the weekend.
The Audi R8 Spyder V10 Plus is Audi’s fastest convertible ever, with a 0-62mph time of 3.3 seconds and top-speed of 203mph. Winkelman announced four more Audi Sport models to come between now and 2020, with two more unveils this year. Visitors to Audi’s stand also set eyes on the stunning orange Q8 concept for the first time in the UK alongside the Audi Sport range, including the RS5 Coupé.
The Rapiergroup team managed the registration, communications, ticketing, welcome packs, car display, AV, transport and catering. The event was high profile and generated a significant amount of press coverage to promote the vehicle launch.
