ALK at EAACI
An experiential exhibition stand helping healthcare professionals see allergies through a child’s eyes.
Seeing allergies from a child’s perspective.
The EAACI Annual Congress brought healthcare professionals together in Glasgow to explore the latest thinking in allergy and clinical immunology. ALK wanted their exhibition presence to do more than inform, it needed to communicate their leadership in managing and overcoming allergies in children in a way that felt human, meaningful and memorable.
Working in close collaboration with ALK and their medical communications agency, Rapiergroup designed and delivered an experiential exhibition stand built around a clear visual story. The environment was carefully crafted to help visitors view allergies from a child’s perspective, using deliberate changes in scale and familiar childhood references.
A clearly defined experience route, represented through floor graphics, guided healthcare professionals through the stand. Along the way, engaging touchpoints created space for meaningful interaction, from a giant pillow sculpture representing dust mites, to a tree house highlighting allergens linked to birch trees.
The result was an immersive yet purposeful environment that encouraged exploration without overwhelming the audience. Visitors left the stand feeling informed and empowered, with a clearer understanding of how ALK supports children in rising above the burden of their allergies.
