Audi UK briefed Rapiergroup to host the UK’s top motoring journalists pre and post the UK’s most prestigious car awards ceremony, The What Car? Awards 2019. Highly influential media contacts from across the UK were collected and chauffeur driven in Audi A8 vehicles to The Hilton on Park Lane for hotel check-in and a private pre-drinks champagne reception. Guests enjoyed the spectacular panoramic views at Galvin at Windows, an exceptional Michelin-starred restaurant on the 28th floor of The Hilton prior to being chauffeured to Grosvenor House Hotel for the awards evening.
Following the awards ceremony, Audi’s guests were chauffeured back to The Hilton and guided to Galvin at Windows where they enjoyed the night-time skyline of London during post-awards drinks. The trendy restaurant bar was exclusive to Audi, and created a stylish atmosphere, with its low level lighting, moody décor and upbeat music. Guests were treated to first class service and served a bespoke Audi ‘quattro’ cocktail, midnight snacks alongside beverages throughout the evening.
Floral arrangements were chosen to fit perfectly with both the Audi brand and the venue’s décor. White calla lilies mixed with greenery in LED glass bowls created a modern and clean look in fitting with the venue and Audi brand. Client and guest feedback received was extremely positive and enquiries have been made for 2020.
