Royal Princes, Hollywood stars and a whole host of famous faces gathered at Coworth Park in Ascot for the Audi Polo Challenge, where Rapiergroup designed and implemented a bespoke VIP hospitality environment covering over 1,500 square metres.
The Audi Polo Challenge is one of the brand’s annual halo events and a highlight of the British polo calendar. It is a private, exclusive Audi event (by invitation only) – one which befits the brand’s premium and sophisticated values.
It showcases some of the world’s finest polo players against a team with the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry. The two-day event hosted 310 guests each day (a total of 620 guests for the weekend).
The main structure, included a terrace area and over 50 metres of glazing to ensure the glamorous guests had a perfect view of all the polo action. The terrace lead to a huge decked area where the champagne flowed.
Behind the scenes, another structure was split into four areas to provide the green room, kitchens, the organisers’ offices and toilet facilities, while two smaller marquees provided ancillary support areas.
The bespoke interior and conceptual suspended bespoke artwork was all designed by the in-house Rapiergroup design team to compliment the range of vehicles on display showcasing Audi’s premium brand.
