A theatrical experience using light and projection
Every two years, Farnborough plays host to an international airshow at which BAE Systems has a large, individual exhibition presence in the form of a purpose-built 3600m² two-storey pavilion, a ‘blank canvas’ to be populated with the company’s key messages.
Rapiergroup undertook to deliver a corporate presence, which despite not being able to incorporate the ‘lavish’ look and feel of previous years’ exhibits, set new standards of excellence in the creation of corporate business environments and messaging, achieving significant capital savings. A radical approach was taken with a ‘theatrical’ experience through the use of light and projection. Our designers used the building’s raw form to create an ‘industrial’ feel, which enhanced the visitor experience, and helped to keep within budget.
